We all have causes that are closest to our hearts, and we dream of doing more for our community. But making significant financial gifts during our lifetime may feel out of reach. With good estate planning, or through a simple beneficiary designation, our dreams of today can come true tomorrow. You don’t have to be wealthy to make a difference, Leave 10 is your guide for how to leave 10% to your charity of choice.
In Pierce County alone, it’s estimated that $48.6 billion will be transferred between generations by 2030. Leaving 10% to charity could help meet critical needs in our community for generations to come. That would mean billions invested in the South Sound!
Leave 10 South Sound aims to:
Educate individuals on the vital role of philanthropy in families and estate plans
Serve as a resource on planned giving for nonprofits and professional advisors
Motivate individuals to include charitable organizations in their estate plans
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Statement
At the heart of Leave 10’s mission is the belief that all people have the potential to make a difference in their community, not just wealthy individuals. Leave 10 aspires to build an inclusive movement guided by our vision of a more vibrant, just and equitable community for succeeding generations.
